Help me explicate this poem aslo due tomorrow? "A psalm of life"? Not enough space here for ending :(

This is one of my favorites. But explain what you mean by "explicate"? Do you want to elaborate or simplify? Basically the poem is a lashing out to the idea of "life is pointless". We are here to pave the way for another generation. We are to enjoy all that is around us ("art is long"). We shouldn't just walk a straight line from birth to death, we should chart our own courses, tread new paths, pave new ways. Hope that helps!
