I have a huge problem with my kitty?

i posted this before but im going to post it again please help me i need all the help i can get im going to type a bit of a story but i need all the advise i can get. I have a beautiful kitten we started to build a great relationship and she was very friendly then i noticed that she started hiding and sleeping alot more and i didnt think too much of it at first. One day my phone was ringing and i was running to answer it and i collided with her and she went skidding on the floor i know it didnt hurt her though becuase i didnt kick hard just enough to scare her and i have done this a few times becuase she always runs out of no where and it usually doesnt bother her but this time when it happened shes paused and went stiff and started shaking and when i picked her up she sort of like played dead and i had no idea why so i left her. I left her for about 3 days and she was still the same she wouldnt play or wonder around she just hid and slept and whenever i go near her she lowers her head like she is really scared of me and usually when i pick her up she licks my nose and is happy but now she plays dead and her eyes are like tiny slits and she just stays very still until i put her down and she wont run away to hide until i move away. Anyway i soon found out that she was abused by my EX housemate he admitted to smacking her over the head more that once and he admitted to hitting her with various objects shoes, wooden spoons etc and he even admitting to kicking her into walls i was so shocked i rushed to the vet for exams and the vet said physically she was fine just extremely shaken up. This was 2 weeks ago now and she is still the same she curls up in corners and hides and wont even let me pat her or go near her she plays dead what do i do please???
