What is going on right now?

My ex broke up with me last week, she told me in time we can be friends. I was really hurt at first cause it was a 2 year relationship, I am giving her space to leave her to cool down, she said IN TIME we can be friends. We went through everything together, good and bad. Her family loves me and my family loves her. I called her today from a week of not being in contact and she was sounding a bit weired and quiet. I am living my life, looking my best everyday and feel alot more mature about this now since the heartache is over. Is it awkward for her to talk to me because she is still in love with me? hopefuly you ladies on this can answer this and help me understand this better
