How long does bone marrow for stews keep in the refrigerator?

I have had the marrow in a brine in the refrigerator as recommended by several online recipes. I have changed the brine three times in a week and am now ready to cook the marrow this evening. Is it too late? How long does the marrow keep before it goes bad?
